IMPERIAL BEACH, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — There is a heavy sadness in the air in the community of Imperial Beach as friends and neighbors gather near Portwood Pier Plaza, remembering a longtime local who was shot and killed by a San Diego County Sheriff’s deputy Sunday.
“Come down to cry and connect and be in solidarity with the tremendous loss,” said Pat Keith, a longtime resident of Imperial Beach.
