9 businesses targeted in smash-and-grab burglaries; teenagers arrested

ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Nine businesses in Onondaga County were targeted in a string of smash-and-grab style burglaries in the early morning hours on Dec. 23.

Starting around 2:30 a.m., Onondaga County Sheriff Road Patrol deputies and North Syracuse Police officers responded to multiple commercial business smash-and-grab burglaries in the Town of Clay and the Town of Salina.

They responded to nine businesses with either smashed front doors or windows, with some cash registers or money stolen…
