Marlborough MA shopping mall sold for $8.5 million. What’s next

After a series of store closures and financial uncertainty, the Solomon Pond Mall in Marlborough has a new owner in place for a majority of the property.

An $8.5 million deal has been finalized for Industrial Commercial Properties to purchase a large portion of the mall, according to court documents. A federal judge signed off on the sale on Dec. 5 and listed ICP has having the highest and best offer in the bidding process.
