Woman embarrassed, calls treatment by theater security ‘reprehensible’

When Betsy Livecchi and her daughter bought tickets to a mid-December performance of The Nutcracker at the Stranahan, they expected to see a festive holiday tradition of classic ballet with joyful music and dazzling scenes.

Instead, Ms. Livecchi found herself arguing with security to let her in after she was flagged for not carrying the proper sized bag, a rule at many venues.
