Connecticut’s legendary Buddy the Beefalo, who fled a Plymouth slaughterhouse and evaded capture for months before finally gaining a life of ease in Florida, has died.
Critter Creek Farm Sanctuary in Gainesville posted a notice on Facebook late Monday that Buddy, a cross between bison and cattle, was fine at his 2 a.m. check but was later found dead.
