FRANKFORT, Ky. (FOX 56) — The parent accused of the fatal Kentucky State University shooting argues that pulling the trigger was “completely justified.”
Jacob Lee Bard, 48, of Evansville, Indiana, has been arrested in connection with the Dec. 9 shooting that killed De’Jon Darrell Fox Jr. and injured another student outside the Whitney M. Young Jr. Residence Hall.
On Monday, Dec. 22, Bard’s attorneys issued a five-page statement detailing Bard’s account. It comes just hours before a Franklin County grand jury would reportedly convene to decide whether or not to indict him.
