Traffic on I-64 West in Woodford County reopened following crash: What we know

WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — Officials with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and state police are warning drivers of a morning crash that led to the right westbound lane of I-64 being closed.

Around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced that both lanes of the highway had reopened after it had been reduced to one lane for nearly three hours.

Troopers with the Kentucky State Police (KSP) announced on social media around 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 23, that the right westbound lane of I-64 West was blocked at mile marker 60.7 due to a crash.

According to an alert from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the lane will be blocked until roughly 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
