SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — A Virginia woman has been arrested for reportedly stealing from a Spartanburg County nursing home resident.
South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced the arrest of Suzanne Michelle Premont, 57, of Woodlawn, by the Vulnerable Adults and Medicaid Provider Fraud unit (VAMPF) for exploiting a vulnerable adult and obtaining property under false pretenses.
Premont was arrested following an investigation by VAMPF that revealed she allegedly exploited a vulnerable adult’s financial resources between Jan. 17 and Feb. 2, 2024. During this period, it is alleged that she took approximately $600 from the victim’s personal bank account…
