Jake’s Journey Home will celebrate the opening of its new Community Assist Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Jan. 15, offering area families and residents an expanded hub for support services previously available only through mobile outreach.
The center at 5936 Main St. will operate from 1-3 p.m. during the grand opening, welcoming community members to tour the facility and meet staff who serve Folsom, Orangevale, Fair Oaks, Citrus Heights and surrounding areas.
I first met Jeanne Shuman when we worked together at Chick-fil-A Folsom, and I’m still proud to call her a friend. Watching her dedicate herself to this mission has been inspiring, and I’m honored to share news of this exciting milestone with our community…
