SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) — The Cannons Campground Road bridge over Peters Creek in Spartanburg County reopened Monday, Dec. 22, after over a year of construction.
The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) completed the bridge replacement after it was closed in May 2024 due to safety concerns, following an inspection that found it to be unsafe.
