Bizarre central Pa. robber fled traffic stop, caused fiery crash that hurt bystanders: police

A 33-year-old man wanted for committing two robberies and falsely reporting a house fire led police on a chase Saturday that ended in a fiery crash in Lancaster County, court documents show.

Pennsylvania State Police said Joshua Quinones called 911 around 5:22 a.m. Saturday to report a house fire in Akron, Lancaster County, with four people trapped inside. Police were dispatched, but did not find any fire. It was a hoax.

Quinones called 911 again at about 5:51 a.m. and told the dispatcher he was “God” and that a woman, who wasn’t identified in court documents, was his “queen” and the only person with whom he would speak, according to the affidavit…
