90 pints of blood donated during drive honoring fallen York County officers

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Whether it be at an incident or a crash, the police are usually the ones who are showing up.

However, this time it was the community that showed up to Monday’s blood drive, which was in honor of the fallen Northern York County Regional Police officers.

Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank officials said 90 pints of blood were collected, which means they are able to save 270 lives over the holidays. There were at least 120 people who signed up ahead of time to donate their blood and there were even more donors with walk-ins…
