BESSEMER TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZMQ) – A Wisconsin man was killed in a snowmobile crash in Gogebic County on Sunday.
At approximately 10:31 a.m., Michigan State Police (MSP) Wakefield Post troopers and Gogebic County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a snowmobile crash on Trail 2 in Bessemer Township. Through a preliminary investigation, officials found that the snowmobile was traveling eastbound on Trail 2 when the driver left the trail, lost control of the snowmobile, and struck a wooden post. Emergency medical care was administered on scene, but efforts were unsuccessful.
The driver, a 61-year-old man from Luxemburg, Wisconsin, died due to the injuries he sustained in the crash. Drugs or alcohol do not appear to have contributed to the crash…
