Victim identified in deadly shooting on Madison’s north side

MADISON, Wis. — The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office on Tuesday identified the man who died after a shooting Saturday night on Madison’s north side.

Abubacarr Darboe, 22, of Madison died at a hospital following a shooting in the 3500 block of Portage Road. An autopsy was completed on Monday but the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office said a determination on the cause and manner of Darboe’s death was pending as of Tuesday afternoon.
