AFR responds to fire at abandoned building for second time in 30 days

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to a fire at an abandoned commercial building Monday night for the second time within 30 days.

Firefighters were dispatched to 108 Vassar Dr. SE at 11:46 p.m. and found a working fire. AFR said the building, located off Central Avenue near Girard, had significant fire damage.

Two hospitalized after fire burns home in northwest Albuquerque

Firefighters previously responded to a fire at the same location on Nov. 27. No injuries were reported.
