Donate band instruments to help local kids learn music

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A new musical instrument drive aims to provide local kids with the gift of music while encouraging early spring cleaning.

Philip Arnold, music director of the Youth Jazz Collaborative of New Mexico, said the program offers free after-school jazz music lessons to young musicians in the metro area. Students who need an instrument can borrow one from the program.
