SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — A well-known doctor has been indicted by a grand jury in New Hampshire, accused of “recklessly taking trust funds” from his elderly father.
On Dec. 15, 2025, the New Hampshire Attorney General John M. Formella announced an indictment against Dr. William Cimikoski, Jr., 59, of Sandy. He faces 10 class A felony counts of financial exploitation of an elderly adult and two class A felony counts of theft by misapplication of property.
Trust fund misuse allegations
According to New Hampshire police, Dr. Cimikoski is a trustee of his elderly father, William Cimikoski Sr.’s trust. Between Jan. 27, 2020, and Jan. 26, 2022, he has allegedly taken trust funds for “his own profit and advantage.”
Police also claim that in March 2022, Dr. Cimikoski obtained funds and a condo under an agreement to make payments to the trust’s beneficiaries, but “recklessly failed to make the specified payments,” and dealt with the funds and property as his own…
