Here’s a look at Christmas for foster families in the Lowcountry

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCSC) — While many Lowcountry kids are counting the hours until Santa arrives, others are wishing for something much simpler: a safe place to land, and a home to call their own.

For children entering foster care, new homes, unfamiliar routines and unanswered questions often replace the traditions many families take for granted. For the foster parents who welcome them, the holiday season becomes less about perfection and more about providing stability when it matters most.
