When someone asks me what whiskey to buy, it usually happens at a backyard cookout or leaning on the counter at a liquor store, not in some fancy tasting room. I’ve been drinking whiskey long enough to know what actually gets poured again and what just sits there collecting dust. I’ve tried plenty over the years, shared bottles with friends, and even had a few I didn’t really care for but still finished because, well, that’s life.
