LANSING — Michigan transit agencies will receive $133 million in state and federal grants to purchase new buses and upgrade transit facilities, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
The funding comes from the Federal Transit Administration’s Low or No Emission Grant Program and the Grants for Buses and Bus Facilities Program, with required matching funds provided by the state.
