Sevier County Animal Shelter finds some animals a home for the holidays

SEVIER COUNTY, Tenn. — The Sevier County Animal Shelter is hosting its ‘Home for the Holidays’ program. It allows some shelter animals to spend the holidays with a foster family.

The shelter’s placement manager, Mandy Rush, said even a few short weeks away can be life-changing for a shelter animal.

“It gives them a good Christmas,” she said. “They can just kind of experience the holiday spirit and just learn and know what it feels like to be a part of a family.”…
