Father awarded custody of baby born to metro Atlanta woman on life support while brain dead for months

ATLANTA — The infant born to a metro Atlanta woman who was kept on life support for months after being declared brain dead is now in the custody of his father.

A judge has awarded Adrian Harden sole physical and legal custody of his son, Chance, following the death of the child’s mother, Adriana Smith, earlier this year.
