MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — A few stratus clouds will roll in this morning and linger through the afternoon. We’ll see one or two sprinkles in the morning, mainly across the Pee Dee. High temperatures today will jump to the mid-60s. If the clouds are more persistent, though, the highs might only peak in the low 60s, especially along the Border Belt. Tonight temperatures will stay in the 40s with partly cloudy skies.
The extreme warming trend will last through Christmas with highs on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in the upper 60s and low 70s. There will be no rain for the holiday this year, only sunny and mild weather.
Temperatures will be 3 to 5 degrees lower on Friday as a dry, weak front moves through. Temperatures will be in the mid-60s on Friday, but we return to the 70s for the weekend. There will be a final cold snap in 2025. It will come on Monday…
