One of the biggest impacts came from Othram, a forensic genealogy company helping law enforcement solve cases that have been cold for decades. Using advanced DNA extraction and forensic-grade genome sequencing, Othram builds DNA profiles with hundreds of thousands of markers, allowing investigators to search genealogical databases for matches.
