Police in Chesterfield say a bicyclist was killed Dec.20 when he was hit by a car on River Road in the southern end of the county.
It happened around 3:50 p.m. in the 4300 block of River Road just west of Ettrick near Randolph Farm, according to a statement from Chesterfield Police. The driver of a 2012 Mazda sedan was westbound on River Road when the car struck the bicyclist who was also westbound.
The bicyclist, 38-year-old William Mason of the 19600 block of Little Road in Chesterfield, was taken to an area hospital where he later died of his injuries…
