Rents in the San Diego-Chula Vista-Carlsbad metro are easing as 2025 comes to a close, offering some relief in one of the country’s most expensive rental markets.
The Realtor.com® November 2025 Rental Report shows that asking rents are now lower than they were a year ago, signaling a market that is cooling after years of intense pressure.
Even so, costs remain high, keeping affordability front and center for renters across the region.
