Affordable naloxone program by CalRx reverses nearly 400K overdoses, Newsom says

According to Gov. Newsom, CalRx will offer CalRx-branded OTC naloxone HCL nasal spray, 4 mg, for only $19, beginning the new year. He added that this represents more than a 50 percent decrease in cost from the original market price.

“Lifesaving medications should never be out of reach because of cost – and, through CalRx, California is proud to lead the way in driving down prices and expanding access across the country by disrupting the pharmaceutical market,” according to Newsom…
