The Historic Mars Theatre is turning up the rhinestones in January with a weekend-long celebration honoring the birthday of one of America’s most beloved cultural icons.
From January 16–18, 2026, audiences are invited to celebrate Dolly Parton’s Birthday Bash, a joyful tribute filled with classic films, live music, and plenty of Dolly-sized charm.
The celebration kicks off on Friday, January 16, with a special screening of 9 to 5, the iconic 1980 comedy that helped cement Parton’s place in Hollywood history. On Saturday, January 17 at 7:00 PM, the spotlight turns to the stage for a live performance by a Dolly Parton tribute band, bringing her legendary hits and unmistakable spirit to life.
