TOLEDO, Ohio — Police arrested a man on Sunday for fleeing over 100 mph in a vehicle and crashing in south Toledo after officers attempted to serve him a felony warrant for allegedly breaking a woman’s orbital bone by punching her earlier this month.
Tiwane Robinson, 28, was arrested on felony charges of felonious assault and failure to comply and misdemeanor charges resisting arrest and obstructing official business.
According to court documents, Robinson punched the woman on Dec. 12. Then, around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, police attempted to take him into custody for a felony warrant by ordering him out of the vehicle during a traffic stop. Robinson fled in his vehicle, “disregarding traffic signals, exceeding 100 miles per hour, turning off his vehicle lights, and crashing his car when attempted a turn at Byrne and Glanzman roads.”…
