Residents concerned after overnight fires in Nob Hill

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Local residents are growing more concerned after two overnight fires burned close to homes and businesses in Nob Hill.

While Albuquerque Fire Rescue says the warmer than usual temperatures have helped, firefighters are still extremely busy with small outdoor fire calls. The Fast Attack unit has responded to at least 19 outdoor fire calls in the 24 hours.

AFR Public Information Officer, Lt. Jason Fejer says the outdoor fires are extremely dangerous because they, “can spread either tents other combustibles or extend to a structure.”…
