NORTH AUGUSTA — Officials with the SRP Federal Credit Union celebrated the opening of a new museum inside its administrative campus, 1070 Edgefield Rd., on Thursday, Dec. 18, marking a significant milestone in the 65-year history of the credit union.

Founded in 1960 by a group of DuPont employees as a small institution serving the dedicated employees of the Savannah River Plant, SRP Federal Credit Union has expanded through the decades, according to a news release.

“We are thrilled to honor the rich history of SRP Federal Credit Union with this state-of-the-art museum,” said Shana Reid, Chief Development Officer of SRP. “It is not just unveiling a space, but revealing the stories, values, and people that shaped who we are.”
