AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Augusta Regional Airport reported no flight cancellations or delays as of Tuesday afternoon, providing smooth travel for holiday passengers.
Travelers at the airport expressed satisfaction with the facility’s operations. Rachael McKnney, who was traveling home to Knoxville, Tennessee, praised the airport’s atmosphere.
Health leaders are raising concerns about subclade K, a variant of influenza A that has mutated from the original H3N2 strain previously known as J.2.4.1.
