Birmingham Fitness Center North is officially back open—and better than ever.
City leaders and community members gathered earlier this month to celebrate a ribbon cutting for the newly renovated facility, located at 421 Rev. Abraham Woods Jr. Blvd, directly across from Parker High School.
Upgrading Birmingham’s health
The upgrades were made possible through a collaborative effort between District 5 Councilor Darrell O’Quinn and former District 8 Councilor Carol Clarke, who each contributed $50,000 in ARPA funding toward new, state-of-the-art exercise equipment.
