Mandolins Stolen From Teaneck Music Shop Known For Celebrity Clients, Police Say

The store owner reported the theft on Monday, Dec. 22, after surveillance video showed an unidentified man taking the instruments at about 12:30 p.m., according to Teaneck Police Chief Andrew McGurr.

The video shows the man wearing a long winter coat and black-rimmed glasses placing two mandolins into the inside pockets of his jacket before leaving the store.

The business, Lark Street Music, has been a longtime fixture in Teaneck, having moved to the area in July 1999 after 18 years in Albany, NY, its website says…
