A 25 year old female from Athens succumbed to her injuries in the hospital three days after the initial accident on December 21st. She was 15 weeks pregnant, the fetus also did not survive.
The young woman had been in the passenger seat of a Toyota Camry that was struck by a wrong way driver on GA 10 Inner loop. The driver of the Toyota, a 25 year old male of Athens, died at the scene of the accident from his injuries.
