With Christmas just hours away, last-minute shoppers crowded stores across Fayetteville on Wednesday, racing against early closing times to finish their holiday lists.
At Cross Creek Mall, doors closed at 5 p.m., while the Target on Skibo Road extended holiday hours until 8 p.m. to accommodate the surge of late shoppers.
