GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Firefighters in Grand Rapids are ready for the big man in red this Christmas Eve after dispatch’s annual be on the lookout call for Santa Claus.
Shortly after 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve, the Grand Rapids Fire Dispatch put out the call, asking for firefighters to watch for Santa as he comes to Grand Rapids later tonight.
“Be advised, it has been confirmed that Santa and his sleigh will be entering the Grand Rapids area tonight. And is also believed he will make many, many deliveries. If he is spotted on any runs by fire personnel wish him a Merry Christmas and send him on his way.
