KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – Christmas is a time for giving, especially when others are hurting.
“We’ve met a lot of people in need here in Blount County. So many people struggling with our times. You know, the way it is with our economy,” said Patrick Clancy. “We felt that reaching out and putting a post up on Facebook and bringing our community in to get some toys for their family to celebrate Christmas.”

On Monday, Clancy, the owner of Route 129 Smokehouse, rented a U-Haul and collected toys to donate to kids in Blunt County and the surrounding communities.
