Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to an attempted burglary on Dec. 22 at a home in Bel-Air, but the suspects fled by the time police arrived, LAPD spokesman Dark Madison said.
A resident called police around 9:38 p.m. and reported that someone was attempting to break into the residence in the 2500 block of Roscomare Drive, just south of Mulholland Drive. An LAPD helicopter and officers from West Los Angeles Division officers were dispatched to the scene, but no suspects were located. Using security camera footage, the officers determined that three male suspects wearing dark clothing entered through a side gate and smashed a rear window. However, the suspects fled without burglarizing the home, Madison said.
The suspects were driving a black or dark gray truck that was seen parked outside the home around the time of the attempted burglary. A media report stated that officers escorted a baby and a second child out of the home and reunited them with their parents, but Madison could not confirm the report and had no further details about the crime…
