MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – A tragic apartment fire in Montgomery has now claimed three lives, including two children, deepening heartbreak for a community already grappling with loss just days before Christmas.

A growing memorial of teddy bears, balloons, and candles now surrounds the apartment complex — a visual reminder of lives lost and a community grieving together during what should be a season of joy.
