CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. (WFXR) Many people across Virginia have the food they need for a holiday dinner, but others are not as lucky.
The Salvation Army New River Valley is stepping in to help folks in need of something to eat with its weekly food bag giveaway. It remained open on Wednesday, so anyone can enjoy a Christmas meal with loved ones.
“People are very grateful,” Noah Lind, a Corps officer with Salvation Army New River Valley, said. “They are appreciative that there’s a place that they can come, where they can feel the love of Jesus through what we do and through the food that we give.”…
