BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Investigators remain on the scene of an overnight, Christmas Eve, house fire as they work to determine the cause.
The Baton Rouge Fire Department responded to the fire in the 400 block of Lorri Burgess Avenue around 2 a.m. Crews arrived to find heavy fire showing in the front and side of the home. Firefighters said that because of the fire conditions, they transitioned to a defensive attack.
Officials were able to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring homes, but the affected house was considered a total loss…
