OHP trooper released from hospital following deadly crash

OKLAHOMA CITY (KSWO) – An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper has recently been released from the hospital following a deadly crash.

Officials say that at 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 22 an OHP trooper was stationed with his emergency lights on westbound I-40 at Choctaw Road to block the outside lane for a disabled semi being loaded onto a wrecker.

An F-250 truck hit the trooper’s patrol unit from behind, while the trooper was inside, with both the trooper and driver being rushed to the hospital…
