A Hennepin County jury has convicted a Minneapolis man for shooting and killing three people at an encampment in 2024.
The verdicts were returned on Monday against 41-year-old Earl Bennett, who will be sentenced for his crimes in mid-January. He was also convicted of illegally possessing a firearm.
Bennett fired multiple shots into a small encampment near the 4400 block of Snelling Avenue in Minneapolis on October 27, 2024.
