Kalen DeBoer had an interesting story about 50 Cent performing live during the Alabama–Oklahoma CFP game in Norman. The Sooners love to use that song for the fourth quarter, but so does Alabama.
DeBoer noted the Crimson Tide play that song to start practice and stretching, getting the guys hyped up for the day. So not only did it hype up OU in a close game, DeBoer’s squad got it going on their own respective sideline.
“The guys talked about it afterwards: on Fridays the song, that song is the one that the guys played right before we start our stretch,” DeBoer said on The Triple Option. “It’s high energy, excited they got the game, you know, 24 hours, or whatever, you know, ahead. I did not know, I knew there was a video. I thought that was a video. I was kind of towards the other end.
