Shooter ambushed fast food employee as he left: Police

ST. LOUIS – Earlier this month, a man climbed through the window of a south St. Louis fast food restaurant, then later waited to ambush employee as he left the business.

According to a probable cause statement from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the ordeal unfolded on Dec. 17 at the Jack-in-the-Box restaurant in the 2100 block of South Grand Boulevard, located in the Shaw neighborhood.

Police said Damatrius J. Hood, 28, crawled in the restaurant via the drive-thru window and got into an argument with an employee over a personal matter.
