Omaha Streetcar construction to accelerate with bridge demolition in January

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Construction activity will increase in January as the Streetcar project enters its next phase, which includes reconstructing the Farnam Street bridge, installing mainline track and implementing road closures.

Farnam Street will close between 28th and 29th Streets on Monday, Jan. 5, to prepare for bridge reconstruction. The closure is expected to last approximately 11 months.
