The Metropolitan Police Department has made an arrest following an assault in Northwest Washington, D.C. On November 15, at approximately 4:38 p.m., a man was struck with a handgun inside a building on the 1400 block of V Street. According to MPD, the suspect approached the victim, assaulted him with the weapon, and quickly fled the scene.
Law enforcement quickly apprehended the suspected assailant. On Monday, just over a month after the assault, 19-year-old Taivion Scott of Northwest D.C. was arrested under a D.C. Superior Court warrant. Scott now faces charges of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun), as per MPD…
