Renovations at Wichita’s Eisenhower National Airport begin next month

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — It’s been just over 10 years since it opened, but Wichita Eisenhower National Airport will soon undergo terminal renovations.

Wichita’s Airport Authority said renovations will begin starting Jan. 5. The work will include reconfiguring the ticket counter.

“This renovation allows us to better utilize our existing ticketing space while also preparing for future growth,” Rachel Mayberry, air service and marketing manager, said in a news release. “Although we are working to limit any disruption, we continue to encourage passengers to arrive at the airport with enough time to feel comfortable before their flight.”
