The walls of Layton McMurphy’s barn are covered with vinyl banners of pictures taken of him and his award-winning steers. They start in 2019 and depict wins in shows at the State Fair of Texas, Houston, Fort Worth and San Antonio livestock shows.
McMurphy’s biggest win was a reserve champion Angus at the Fort Worth Stock Show.
